1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By purchasing Ant.Studio products through our authorized resellers ("Dealer," "Retailer," or "Authorized Partner"), you ("Customer," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Ant.Studio ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") manufactures and distributes outdoor furniture exclusively through our network of authorized dealers.

2. AUTHORIZED RESELLER NETWORK

2.1 Distribution Model

Ant.Studio products are available exclusively through our carefully selected network of authorized resellers. All sales, customer service, delivery, and initial warranty support are managed by your authorized dealer.

2.2 Dealer Authority

Your purchasing relationship is directly with the authorized dealer. Dealers are independent businesses authorized to sell Ant.Studio products and provide customer service within their designated territories.

3. PRODUCT PHILOSOPHY AND NATURAL MATERIALS

3.1 "Aging Together with Beauty"

Our furniture embodies our core philosophy of "aging together with beauty"—designed to develop character alongside your life through natural weathering and use. This aging process is an intentional and desirable characteristic of our products.

3.2 ThermoPine Material Characteristics

Our furniture is crafted from thermo-treated pine (ThermoPine), a sustainably sourced material treated with steam and pressure to enhance durability. This natural material will evolve over time when exposed to outdoor conditions.

Natural Aging Process Includes:

  • Color Evolution: Gradual transition from warm brown to elegant silver-grey patina

  • Surface Development: Natural texture changes and grain expression enhancement

  • Seasonal Response: Minor expansion and contraction due to temperature and humidity variations

  • Surface Checking: Small, harmless surface cracks that open and close seasonally

  • Weathering Patterns: Natural patina development and character formation

3.3 Acceptance of Natural Characteristics

By purchasing our products, you acknowledge and embrace that:

  • Natural materials contain inherent variations in grain, color, texture, and density

  • Minor surface irregularities, natural wood characteristics, and slight dimensional variations are authentic features

  • The aging process enhances rather than diminishes the furniture's beauty

  • These characteristics represent the authentic nature of natural materials, not manufacturing defects

  • Each piece will develop unique character over time

4. WARRANTY COVERAGE

4.1 Manufacturing Warranty

Ant.Studio warrants products against manufacturing defects for 2 years from the date of purchase for structural components and 2 years for hardware, subject to:

  • Normal residential use and proper maintenance

  • Products used in appropriate outdoor conditions according to care instructions

  • Purchase from authorized Ant.Studio dealer with valid proof of purchase

4.2 Warranty Exclusions

Our warranty does not cover:

  • Natural aging and weathering processes including color changes, patina development, and surface texture evolution

  • Natural wood characteristics including grain patterns, color variations, seasonal checking, and minor surface irregularities

  • Environmental effects such as UV exposure, moisture exposure, temperature fluctuations, and normal outdoor weathering

  • Damage from improper use, negligence, accidents, or misuse

  • Damage from extreme weather events (storms, flooding, hail, hurricanes)

  • Damage caused by improper assembly, installation, or modification

  • Damage from chemicals, harsh cleaning products, or substances not recommended in our care guide

  • Products repaired or modified by unauthorized parties

  • Normal wear and tear from regular use

  • Damage occurring during transport or storage by customer or dealer

4.3 Warranty Claim Process

All warranty claims must be processed through your authorized dealer:

  • Contact your dealer within 5 working days of discovering any claimed defect

  • Provide photographic evidence and proof of purchase

  • Claims without photographic documentation will not be processed

  • Dealer will coordinate with Ant.Studio for warranty evaluation and resolution

4.4 Warranty Remedies

When a valid warranty claim is accepted, Ant.Studio's obligation is limited to:

  • Repair of the defective component

  • Replacement of defective parts

  • Replacement of the entire product (at our discretion)

  • Credit toward replacement product

Choice of remedy remains solely with Ant.Studio. Customers cannot demand specific remedies.

4.5 Limitation of Liability

Our total liability is limited to the original purchase price of the defective product. Ant.Studio shall not be liable for:

  • Consequential, incidental, or indirect damages

  • Loss of use, profits, or business interruption

  • Costs of removal, reinstallation, or transportation

  • Damages to property or other items

  • Any damages exceeding the original purchase price

5. CARE AND MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS

5.1 Customer Responsibilities

Proper care and maintenance are essential for both furniture longevity and warranty coverage:

  • Follow all care instructions provided with products and available at www.antstudio.be

  • Perform regular seasonal cleaning and maintenance

  • Use only recommended cleaning products and methods

  • Protect furniture appropriately during extreme weather when recommended

5.2 Maintenance Impact on Warranty

Failure to follow proper maintenance procedures may void warranty coverage. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Using harsh chemicals or inappropriate cleaning methods

  • Failure to provide adequate drainage around furniture

  • Improper storage or covering methods

  • Neglecting recommended seasonal care

6. DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION

6.1 Dealer Responsibility

All delivery arrangements, timelines, and installation services are managed by your authorized dealer. Ant.Studio is not responsible for:

  • Delivery scheduling or delays

  • Installation services or quality

  • Damage occurring during dealer-managed delivery or installation

  • Access issues or site preparation requirements

6.2 Customer Inspection

Customers must inspect products immediately upon delivery and report any shipping damage or visible defects to the dealer within 48 hours. Failure to report issues within this timeframe may affect warranty coverage.

7. RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

7.1 Dealer Return Policies

All returns and exchanges are subject to your individual dealer's policies. Ant.Studio does not directly handle customer returns. Contact your dealer for their specific return and exchange terms.

7.2 Natural Material Disclaimer

Neither dealers nor Ant.Studio will accept returns based solely on:

  • Natural material characteristics or inherent variations

  • Normal aging, weathering, or patina development

  • Minor surface irregularities consistent with natural materials

  • Color changes due to UV exposure or natural weathering

8. PRICING AND PAYMENT

8.1 Dealer Pricing

All pricing is determined by individual authorized dealers. Ant.Studio does not control retail pricing or payment terms offered by dealers.

8.2 Product Availability

Product availability and lead times are managed by dealers based on their inventory and our production schedule.

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All Ant.Studio designs, trademarks, and intellectual property remain our exclusive property. Reproduction, modification, or distribution of our designs is prohibited without written authorization.

10. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION

Customer information collected by dealers is subject to their individual privacy policies. Ant.Studio's privacy policy governs any direct communication between customers and Ant.Studio.

11. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

11.1 Dealer Relations

For issues related to sales, delivery, pricing, or initial customer service, customers should first work directly with their authorized dealer.

11.2 Manufacturing Issues

For product quality concerns or warranty claims that cannot be resolved through your dealer, contact Ant.Studio directly at info@antstudio.be.

11.3 Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Belgian law. Any disputes will be resolved in Belgian courts with jurisdiction in Antwerp.

12. FORCE MAJEURE

Ant.Studio shall not be liable for delays or failures in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, supply chain disruptions, labor strikes, material shortages, or government regulations affecting manufacturing or distribution.

13. PRODUCT MODIFICATIONS

Ant.Studio reserves the right to modify product designs, materials, or specifications to improve quality, functionality, or sustainability. Such modifications do not affect the warranty coverage of previously manufactured products.

14. SUSTAINABILITY COMMITMENT

Our commitment to durable, responsibly sourced materials reflects our dedication to environmental stewardship. Proper care and the natural aging process minimize environmental impact by extending product lifespan.

15. UPDATES TO TERMS

Ant.Studio reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions. Updated terms will be posted at www.antstudio.be and provided to authorized dealers. Continued purchase of products after modifications constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

16. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
